Our team creates educational content, support tools, and guided resources focused on learning, encouragement, and personal growth.
Dr. McCallum brings over 20 years of leadership in mental health, from trauma recovery to clinical education. A U.S. Army veteran and PTSD survivor, he deeply understands high-stress environments — and how to thrive beyond them.
With a doctorate from Johns Hopkins and hands-on experience serving military families, first responders, and professionals, he designed Insight University as a place where learning leads to lasting growth.
Whether you’re here to heal, grow, or lead others, you’re in good hands.
Peer Support sessions are encouraging, skills-focused conversations — not therapy, diagnosis, or emergency care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, please call your local emergency number or a crisis line (such as 988 in the U.S.) before using the app.
Ready to talk? Choose between a comforting in-person setting or the privacy of your home.
No. Insight Thrive is not a replacement for counseling, diagnosis, or medical care.
It is an educational and support tool that can enhance your work in therapy—by giving you skills, reflection exercises, and guided support between sessions. For one-on-one therapy or psychiatry services, you would still book directly with Insight Counseling.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, please contact your local emergency number or crisis line (such as 988 in the U.S.) before using the app.

Yes. Many families use Insight Thrive together:
Teens can work through teen-focused lessons and reflections.
Parents can access parent-focused modules to learn how to better support their teen.
We encourage families to talk openly about how they’ll use the app, respect privacy, and decide together which activities they’ll share and which will be private.
Talk with a trained Peer Support member who listens without judgment and understands what stress, anxiety, and burnout feel like in real life.
